enhanced free plan with higher limits, and it's easy to
set up: if you have an .edu
email address, just drop us a line. No discount codes,
no paperwork.
Who qualifies
This is for non-commercial academic work at a school or university. You're in good company if you're one of:
- A student using the API for classwork, an assignment, or a thesis
- A teacher or professor building lessons, demos, or examples
- A researcher pulling country data for a study or paper
How it works
Just email
support from
your .edu address and ask
for the enhanced free plan. Tell us a bit about what
you're building or studying so we know it's for academic
use, and we'll bump up your limits. You'll usually hear
back within a business day.
One thing to keep in mind: the enhanced plan is for academic use only, so it's not meant for
a commercial product's live traffic, even from a .edu address.
And if your school address doesn't end in .edu, reach out anyway
and we'll happily sort out your eligibility.
